STONELINE Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026
This policy explains how information is handled when you use the STONELINE game, website, and support service.

1. No account required

You can play STONELINE without creating an account or signing in. The game does not ask you to provide your name or email address to play.

2. Information stored on your device

Game progress, scores and unlocks, tutorial status, practice layouts, and settings are stored locally on your current device or, on the website, in your current browser. Settings include language, appearance, haptic feedback, and game preferences.
Local gameplay statistics include time spent in game modes, match scores and outcomes, difficulty, stone counts, and practice activity. STONELINE does not upload these records to a game account or cloud-sync service. Cross-device syncing is not supported.

3. App data and third-party technology

The current game code has no app-operated gameplay data-upload endpoint, advertising service, tracking SDK, third-party analytics service, or automatic crash-reporting integration. It does not request access to your contacts, precise location, camera, or microphone.
STONELINE uses React Native and Expo components for its interface and device features, AsyncStorage for local records, and Expo Haptics for optional tactile feedback. Game images and fonts are bundled with the app. These local uses are not a cloud-sync or analytics feature.
This does not mean that every platform or service involved in delivering the app collects no data. Apple, your operating system, and distribution services may process information separately under their own privacy policies and your settings. TestFlight may process installation, usage, diagnostic, and feedback information, including information you choose to send to the developer. Expo Go and development previews connect to Expo or development servers to load the app; their behavior differs from a standalone installed release.

4. Website hosting and external services

The STONELINE website is hosted on Replit. Opening the website sends network requests to its hosting infrastructure to retrieve pages, scripts, fonts, and images. Those requests necessarily expose an IP address and may include browser information, requested URLs, and referrer information. Hosting providers may process technical request and diagnostic logs to deliver, secure, and operate the website. This is separate from the game’s locally stored progress and statistics.
The optional Expo Go preview page loads a QR-code library from unpkg.com. Visiting that preview page therefore sends a request to that service; it is not part of ordinary gameplay in the installed app.
If you follow an external link or use a platform service, that provider’s privacy practices apply. STONELINE’s local-storage design is not a claim that Apple, Expo, Replit, or other service providers collect no information.

5. Contacting support

If you email support, we receive your email address, message, and any details or screenshots you choose to include. We use that information to respond to your request and investigate reported problems. Messages are transmitted and stored through email providers, including Gmail for our support inbox; they are not stored only inside the game.
Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information, and remove unrelated personal information from screenshots. You may contact us about the personal information you have sent to support, including to request its deletion. An email request cannot remotely erase game records held only on your device.

6. Deleting local information

In the game, Settings → Reset progress resets puzzle progress. It is not an “erase all data” feature: it does not delete all statistics, practice layouts, language preferences, or appearance settings. Practice Rink’s Clear Ice control removes stones from the practice layout; it does not erase your other records.
On the website, use your browser’s settings to clear site data for the STONELINE website to remove locally stored game records and preferences from that browser. Clearing only cached images and files is not the same as clearing site data.
For the installed iOS app, use Delete App in iOS to remove the app and its local data. Offload App preserves documents and data and is not equivalent to deletion. On Android, the system’s clear-app-storage or uninstall options remove the app’s local records. Device or browser backups are managed separately by your platform; STONELINE does not provide its own backup deletion or cross-device sync service.
There is currently no separate in-game control that deletes all statistics. Local records remain until removed or reset through the applicable methods above or by your browser or operating system. Deleting local data can permanently remove your progress.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when STONELINE’s features or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
